PRE-PRODUCTION (PLANNING)

   1) Describe the need for the video and identify the audience.
   2) Develop a concept for presentation of what will be said and what will be seen.
   3) Research and write the script.
   4) Get client approvals and sign-off.
   5) Scout the locations for shooting, and/or design sets for studio shoot.
   6) Develop a shooting schedule. Hire crew and equipment.
   7) Begin design and production of Computer Graphics.
   8) Audition & hire on-camera and/or voice-over talent.

PRODUCTION (SHOOTING)

   9) Shoot on location and/or in studio.
   10) Record script for voice over in audio studio.

POST-PRODUCTION (EDITING)

   11) Edit picture with voice over/on-camera audio in rough-cut format.
   12) First client approval.
   13) Online edit, make client changes from rough cut add music and sound effects.
   14) Final client approval.

DISTRIBUTION

   15) Make dubs (copies in quantity on Tape, CD-ROM, DVD), or prepare files for web or digital usage.
